Veronica, authentic Florentine, is the co-creator and one of the tour guides of Discover Florence. Graduated in history of art and a with Master in Museums Management, she has decided to share her love for art and for her city becoming an licensed Tour Guide of Florence and surroundings. Her passion for traveling and above all her limitless curiosity for all cultures, made her travel, live and work abroad: first as a student at UEA (University of East Anglia) di Norwich, England; then as an apprentice in contemporary art galleries in Sevilla, Spain; and, finally, as a teacher of Italian and History of Art at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Also, she has worked as a Tour Leader around the world: US, Africa, Russia, Europe.

Hi, I am Daniela. Nice to meet you! I will now introduce myself. I am a foreign languages major, I work, both, as part time teacher, and tour guide in Tuscany and Florence. I find what the city of Florence and the region all has to offer to be unique, above all the great masterpieces such as Leonardo’s and Michelangelo’s. I am so blessed!
I have always been interested in art, and every day I go on learning more of the beautiful art all around me. Studying art never really ends, you keep on learning and being surprised, amazed of what you discover, I love it!
Art is not the only passion I have. My other passions are gardening, dogs and…cakes!
Hi everybody! I am Giovanna, a fully licensed tour guide and archaeologist with wide experience abroad. I have a PhD in Conservation of Cultural Heritage and I worked in many archaeological sites around the world. In Florence, my humanities background and my knowledge of classical art made me able to communicate cultural information in a very passionate way. I love showing museums of art and archaeology but also walking through the city admiring churches, old buildings and relevant houses.
I am a very flexible person if schedules may have to change and I will be more than happy to customize a tour that suits your needs.
