The great Duomo of Florence
MEETING POINT: IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE TO THE GIOTTO BELL TOWER
This tour will take you to visit the religious center of Florence with its monuments: the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo), the Baptistery, the Crypt of Santa Reparata and the new Museum dell’Opera del Duomo. This unforgettable itinerary will start with the Baptistery of Florence, an amazing Romanesque architecture with the dome mosaic that will leave you speechless. We will continue visiting the massive Duomo and the hidden Crypt of Santa Reparata, which was the previous cathedral of Florence.
From there we will visit the new Museo dell’ Opera del Duomo which conserves: the original Gates of Paradise, Maria Maddalena by Donatello and Michelangelo’s Pieta… just a few of many wonderful masterpieces.
The reservation also includes the entrance fee (no guide service provided) to the Giotto Bell Tower and to the Brunelleschi’s Dome within 24 hours after the tour.
The visit includes:
- the Cathedral(outside), the Baptistery and the Museum of Opera del Duomo.
- After the tour with the same ticket you will be able to climb up the Dome and the Bell Tower by your self.
The ticket allows the holder to visit all the monuments within 48 hours of visiting the first one. Each monument may be visited only once with the ticket.
Reservations mandatory for the climb on the Dome. Reservetion raccomended on the Bell Tower and the Museum. The service is free.
